A dreaming nightmare of endless blue
Andromeda’s heart sliced open
Impersonal fury, a stone it threw
Into an equally uncaring ocean.
O Father! O foolhardy Cepheus!
Why do you betray love so?
Resign yourself to untrodden depths
Or collect a stone and throw.
Her failing heart it rumbles
Deep like the ocean floor
Perseus too fails and stumbles
Electricity pulses no more.
Her blood flows in vain
Unknown yet tremendous cost
The callous sea is no redder
For all that was lost.
